About Hotel Connect

We are Hotel Connect and I am Wendy, founder of the service and a true Hotel Professional!  Myself and my team have a strong background in supporting 5* operations, delivering world class service and working to exacting standards.  From a personal level I have managed all hotel operations as Department and General Manager across Front of House, Reception, Concierge, Reservations and Revenue.

I have had the pleasure of working in some fabulous places such as The Angel in Bury St Edmunds, Jurys/Doyle on Great Russell Street, London, St Pierre Park, Guernsey and Sheraton in Jerusalem.  I loved working in hotels, I loved the people that I worked with and I loved the guests (yes, all of them!).  I really love making people happy, comfortable and feeling good and this is the same values and beliefs that we work to today, at Hotel Connect.

Wendy Norman

I love my life – I live in Norwich City, by the cathedral and river.  I love going to Food and Drink Festivals – and there are quite a few in Norfolk!  What can be better than listening to some music in the sunshine, with good food, drink and friends?  As you can see from above, I have worked in the hotel industry for many years and I love the fact I can use my expertise and experience to support our ever growing client base.


Carrie is a Reservation Pro!  She was the Reception and Reservations Manager at Hallmark – a 4 star boutique hotel so knows all the issues and challenges that the hotelier faces on a daily basis.  Carrie knows all about optimising room rates and yield – she did it every day!  Carrie only left Hallmark to travel for 6 months across Australia, and on her return came to work for us.


My name is Sarah and with over 30 years’ experience in customer service, whether as a waitress, legal secretary, personal injury client liaison officer, executive assistant, administrator or IT support, I love talking to and helping people; finding answers to their questions and solutions to their suggestions. Whether it’s setting up phone lines, creating recordings to greet customers or answering your calls, I have a wealth of expertise in being the ‘voice of the company’, making every effort to represent you at your best where a smile down the phone goes a long way to achieving your aims.


Felbrigg Lodge Hotel

We have used the services of Hotel Connect for the past 4 years here at Felbrigg Lodge Hotel in North Norfolk. The telephone answering service offered is second to none with customers often commenting on the quick response to their calls and the courtesy and friendliness of the staff answering the phone.

We find the service offered by Wendy and her team invaluable as we only have a small team here at the Hotel and it means we don’t miss calls and potential bookings and other important guests requests and messages.

It only takes one missed call to have cost us several hundred pounds so not only does the Hotel Connect team make us more efficient, it makes us money.
